Although I only have a 'G' license, I think in a past life I must have been a truck driver. I love to drive but not so much in winter in Canada. My wife and I think nothing of driving to Vegas in 3 days or Miami in 2. Get me behind the wheel and I could stay there for ever. I easily put 40-50,000 km annually on my car. That is why I buy most of my gas in the US. I do know what you mean about Brockville having had low prices and now they have gone ballistic. What part of town are you in. I'm on Tupper St. just north of Parkdale off Hwy 29 by Chelsea.

What sort of business are you in? Self employed or employee. I retired from Corrections as a correctional officer (guard) 2-1/2 years ago and find retirement fabulous. After 32.5 years on the job, I deserve it.

midrgrp: I am ok with that....even though I cross over at Prescott/Ogdensburg to shop & buy gas. I can't remember the last time I bought Canadian gas. I'm sure it's been over a year. However I try to post on a regular basis when I leave the house. (Just retired)
